Crunchyroll have today revealed, through UK retailers such as Amazon, Anime-On-Line, HMV and Rarewaves, that two Steelbook variations of Ghost in the Shell will be released in to the UK in celebration of the films 30th Anniversary. Both Steelbook variants will feature the film on 4K UHD Blu-Ray and 1080p Blu-Ray in addition to 4 art cards and newly commissioned artwork by Matt Taylor.
Scheduled to release on the 1st December 2025, and currently available to pre-order at online retailers, these 30th Anniversary Editions of the film will be known as the Kuro Edition and Shiro Edition. The contents of each edition (and its steelbook) will be the same, but the artwork on the front will differ slightly. A rundown of each edition can be found below:
