It wouldn’t be a Monday without MVM Entertainment confirming a new product launch date through an early bird deal on anime-on-line, and that is exactly what has happened. In this case Ragna Crimson has been confirmed for a UK Blu-Ray release on the 18th May 2026, and more importantly it will be released as a Collector’s Edition set.
This UK Collector’s Edition release of Ragna Crimson will feature all 24 episodes in both English and Japanese (with English subtitles) across 4 Blu-Ray discs, but will also come packaged with a 104-page booklet and be housed inside a rigid art box along with the Blu-Ray case.
Synopsis: Few humans have more reason to hate dragons than Ragna, who seems cursed to lose everyone he loves to the ancient monsters. Unfortunately, Ragna’s abilities as a dragon hunter are inadequate, so he takes revenge by serving as the junior partner to young hunting prodigy Leonica… until he has a prophetic dream in which Leo is slain and multiple cities are destroyed. Confronted by an apparition from his future, Ragna finds himself wielding new powers that should be far beyond his reach. Have mankind’s greatest foes finally met their match?
Ragna Crimson was previously released in the US by Sentai Filmworks, so it is expected that this UK release will use the same disc materials as that US release. As such we can also expect to receive the Pre-Airing Emergency Broadcast Program: Dawn of the Dragon Hunters, a Production Documentary, Japanese Promo and textless songs included as bonus features. Of course we won’t know for sure until box art reveals the disc contents, but MVM Entertainment generally do use the same disc materials as the US release.
Either way Ragna Crimson is currently available to pre-order on anime-on-line as an early bird deal until 1st March 2026, at which it will return to its original listing price (with the SRP set at £69.99), and we expect listings at other retailers to appear in the coming weeks. In the meantime the series can be streamed on HIDIVE.
