NIS America have today announced that the latest instalment into the Disgaea franchise will be Disgaea Mayhem, a brand new action-RPG featuring the colourful visuals and over-the-top gameplay, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Windows PC during Summer 2026.
In Disgaea Mayhem you’ll take control of N.A, a mercenary with a sweet tooth and passion for money, as you’ll take down enemies to earn loot. Players can also choose between seven different classes, for either that up close and personal touch (sword) or ranged fighter (bow & arrows) as you grind your way up the levels of success. The game will be playable in English & Japanese with subtitles in English, French and Spanish.
Story: N.A. A battle-hardened mercenary, is summoned by Tichelle, the Overlord of the Super Duper Netherworld–a vast realm where demons of all kinds vie for supremacy.
There, he is given a job that—upon hearing the details—leaves his jaw on the floor.
“The flan I kept in this fridge was eaten!”
“Ah, the flan in this fridge… Wait, what did you say?”
Tichelle’s now deceased father, the former Overlord, created a dish known as the Pristine Gleam Flan. However, his royal subjects incited a rebellion and ate every last bite of it. Now she wants it returned to her in one piece. Thus, she hires N.A. to see the task done.
