KOEI TECMO Games have today announced that a collection of BLUE REFLECTION games will be released digitally for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 & Windows PC on 30th July 2026, and it’s known as BLUE REFLECTION Quartet.
Introduced as BLUE REFLECTION Quartet this digital only collection will contain BLUE REFLECTION and BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light, of which were previously released onto the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam, as well as a console port of the Japanese-only mobile game BLUE REFLECTION: Sun and an exclusive story scenario known as BLUE REFLECTION: RAY. BLUE REFLECTION Quartet that summarizes the events of the 24-episode anime series BLUE REFLECTION: RAY. All four titles will be included as part of a single collection, with it also featuring both a Reference Database and Gallery so that players can imerse themselves even more in to the world of BLUE REFLECTION.
BLUE REFLECTION, originally released in 2017. The game follows students Hinako, Yuzuki, and Lime as they face an imminent threat to the world. In the Quartet version, fans will discover the emotional story in a new light thanks to the HD upgrade of the game’s atmospheric shimmering water, environments, and characters. Furthermore, several features that were not included in the title’s original release, such as faster moving speed and auto-save, will be added to further refine gameplay.
BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light, released in 2021, explores protagonist Ao Hoshizaki as she and her fellow students face their own feelings while attempting to uncover their lost memories and discover the truth of their world. In the Quartet version of the title, eight new battle party members from BLUE REFLECTION: RAY and BLUE REFLECTION: SUN will be added, as well as quality-of-life features such as faster movement speed and auto-save. Furthermore, familiar faces Yuzuki and Lime from BLUE REFLECTION will be included in photo mode alongside other characters, enabling fans to take pictures of the whole cast.
BLUE REFLECTION: RAY, aired in 2021. Fans will revisit the story of students Hiori and Ruka in BLUE REFLECTION Quartet with new 3D models of the main characters alongside an extra short story that can be unlocked by gathering Memory Shards. A prologue and epilogue will also be added to the anime’s story to cohesively tie the series’ titles together.
BLUE REFLECTION: SUN depicted a complex story involving a protagonist assigned to lead a squad, dealing with each member’s personal troubles, while fighting against Testa – monsters born from ashes. For the first time, players will be able to experience the story of BLUE REFLECTION: SUN on console with revitalised combat using the battle system from BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light. Fans will also enjoy a newly created event for Chapter 24 as well as unique conversations not featured in the original release alongside a prologue and epilogue connecting this title to others in the series.
Naturally BLUE REFLECTION Quartet will feature quality-of-life improvements for each of the games, such as improved visuals and textures, but (as outlined above), additional enhancements for each title can also be expected.
