We all love algebra.
Impressions:
It’s certainly another Jump show about assasins, doing all the same things where they walk up, announce they’re an assassin, and then teleport around the place while internally narrating what they’re doing. It might gain some points for actually being aware that kids are pretty annoying creatures, and loses all of them for fetishizing banal schoolwork. Wanting to exercise your brain is one thing. I get it, but nobody cares about your wordle streak. High school homework is not that, and especially not doing algebra on pen and paper.
Run of the mill overall. Not the embarrassingly bad, not overly yelly, but this whole Jump assassin thing has been done dozens of times in the last couple years, from baby assassin to alien assassin, to convenience store assassin, to dating coach assassin, to assassin assassin. Ain’t nothing new, and there’s no interesting twist on the formula, nor any artistic flair or extra strength in the presentation to make it stand out. Aside from the flasher dude, I suppose.
