Updated listings at online retailers have revealed that Mamoru Hosoda’s SCARLET will launch on the 8th June 2026 in the UK as 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray. The film is being distributed in to the UK through Sony Pictures, in partnership with Elevation Sales, with pre-orders now being accepted at online retailers.
As previously reported online retail listings, at Amazon UK, HMV, and Rarewares, have SCARLET listed as a Steelbook Edition, containing the film on both 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray, as well as a Standard Edition Blu-Ray set with further details for each set listed below.

Synopsis: From visionary Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda (MIRAI) comes a powerful, timebending animated adventure. SCARLET previously received a limited cinema release in the UK last month, on the 13th March 2026 to be exact, with most (if not all) screenings being in subbed format. Confirmation of this 4K UHD Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray, release of the film means that fans can soon watch it in the comfort of their own home, and that they will be able to watch it in dubbed or subbed format.
