Impressions:
Obligatory angel character and episode. Her gag is entirely around her being completely oblivious to everything, mostly fanservice. Can’t say it was all that well done, as every boob bounce, trip and grope, and panty shot had to be ‘highlighted’ by Kanan screaming an announcement that it had happened. And there was really only that one joke, told over and over again.
I still maintain that the humor works best when they let it be purely visual or characters are more deadpan and simply roll with it, and unfortunately, this episode was all T&A and yelling. I also think it would’ve worked a lot better had they sidelined Kanan a bit this episode and let Kyougi be the one to be calling her a devil and resisting her. Or just running along with/ignoring all her flouncing. Anything aside from more deafening yelling would’ve been better.
