In an exclusive reveal on Variety, it has been announced that Anime Limited have partnered with Disney+ to have iconic anime films, such as Your Name, Belle, Perfect Blue and Akira, available to stream on the Disney+ platform in the UK.
This new deal between will allow the following films to be available on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland:
Akira
Belle
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
Mirai
Perfect Blue
Summer Wars
The Girl who Leapt Through Time
Weathing With You
Wolf Children
Your Name
It is expected that all of these films will be available in dubbed and subbed format, but additional details on streaming availability will be confirmed at a later date.
It is worth mentioning that all of these films are available on Blu-Ray and DVD, with some even available on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, in the UK via Anime Limited.
