This show, like everything this season, is wearing my patience thin.
Impressions:
After that awful arc focused on nobody, we get a total filler episode centered on a brat throwing a tantrum where every joke is him making some grotesque face and screaming. …Great. Also, lessons about hair etiquette for nobility in medieval Japanese times. Cool. Great. Nice that we visited Wikipedia for that. So of course they’d overanimate part of it, because Cloverworks does incomprehensible things. If anything should have had dumb little stuffed dolls or cutaways to professors, you’d think it would be to give the poor beleaguered historical trichologist a moment in the sun, but no. This is what the animators apparently wanted to spend time and effort on. And apparently going right into another comic relief idiot. This is what the entire season’s going to be, huh? So much for that set of murder dudes in the first episode back.
