Originally Denshattack! was due to be released last month, as shwon in the gameplay trailer, but it was pushed back slightly to 15th July 2026 and is now available. To celebrate the launch various activities are currently being offered for a limited period of time, such as a 10% discount on Steam. Console owners will also be able to download a seasonal train skin pack and a console exclusive skin for a limited time as well.

About: Hop aboard your custom gravity-defying train and embark on a hectic quest to defeat the sinister Miraidō corporation, alongside a vibrant pack of outcasts.

Ollie, kickflip, and grind your way through Japan’s biggest cities, as well as a world of meadows, volcanoes and oceans. Rack up points and chase that sweet high score as you flip, trick and stick the landing in your customisable ride.

Face off against a lineup of reimagined Japanese trains, gain the respect of an underground network of gangs and rebels, and turn rivals to allies as you master your skills. Journey from naive beginner to seasoned pro as you strive to race the fastest train in existence and become a legendary Denshattacker!

Travel from the countryside of Kyushu through the metropolises of Osaka, Tokyo and more, now sealed under domes by Miraidō. Venture across Japan to the snowfields of Hokkaido… and beyond! Each new region holds fresh challenges to beat and rules to break.

Denshattack! is developed by Unicoders, and published by Fireshine Games, and here is what David Jaumandreu, Game Director of Denshattack, had to say about bringing the game to players across the world and what the inspiration for it was:

“It’s a dream to bring together our greatest passions in Denshattack!: skateboarding, trains, and Japan!” Said David Jaumandreu, Game Director of Denshattack! “Denshattack! harkens back to the unmistakably bold style championed by some of the Y2K era’s greatest games and anime, including the iconic Jet Set Radio, One Piece and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. These were foundational inspirations for how we approach game and character design, and their unabashed celebration of larger-than-life ideas continue to inspire us to this day.”

Denshattack! is now available digitally for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC and a playable demo is also available for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Windows PC.
