During a recent presentation KOEI TECMO Games revealed new details for A.O.T. 3, known outside of Europe as Attack on Titan 3, including a release date (which is 10th December 2026), a physical day one editions and digital editions. The presentation also reminded fans th MAPPA, the animation studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season, will work on the games opening cinematic with key animator Arifumi Imai as its director.
As a reminder A.O.T 3 (Attack on Titan 3) is based on the popular anime and manga series by Hajime Isayama, and will retell the events of the entire Attack on Titan story line from the humble beginnings at the Survey Corps to the epic final conclusion on the Marley mainland. Additionally, Exterior Scouting Missions will allow players to freely explore the world outside the walls by constructing supply bases, taking down dangerous Titans and expanding humanity’s domain. Players will be able to create their own character and immerse themselves into the world of Attack on Titan like never before.

Players that have save data from A.O.T and A.O.T 2 will also unlock bonuses in A.O.T 3 on the same console platform, but further details have yet to be confirmed.
A.O.T 3 is scheduled for a 10th December 2026 release and is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Steam) and the game will feature Japanese audio with text (and subtitles) in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
