Disney+ have once again expanded its anime selection on the streaming platform as during the weekend the first season of Black Clover and the feature-length-film Summer Wars were added, with both available to stream in dubbed and subbed format.
Black Clover: Two young boys, Asta and Yuno aspire to become the Wizard King. Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, while Asta is the only one in this world without any. They prepare for the hardest of challenges to achieve their common dream. Giving up is never an option.
Summer Wars: A student tries to fix a problem he accidentally caused in OZ, a digital world, while pretending to be the fiancé of his friend at her grandmother’s 90th birthday.
As a reminder the addition of Summer Wars to the Disney+ platform is part of a deal between Anime Limited and Disney+ where iconic anime films, such as AKIRA, YOUR NAME and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, have been added to the platform. Summer Wars was also recently re-released on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K UHD Blu-Ray by Anime Limited.
In the meantime both Black Clover (Season 1) and Summer Wars can be streamed on Disney+ in dubbed and subbed format in the UK with more titles expected in the near future. As a reminder a Disney+ subscription is required to view content on the platform.
