Anime content continues to be added to the Disney+ streaming platform, as during the weekend the Mamoru Hosoda film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and the anime series The God of High School became available to stream in dubbed and subbed format.
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time: A high-school girl named Makoto acquires the power to travel back in time, and decides to use it for her own personal benefits. Little does she know that she is affecting the lives of others just as much as she is her own.
The God of High School: Jin Mori, a young master of martial arts, claims to be the strongest high schooler around. His skills are put to the test when he’s invited to “God of High School,” a brutal tournament where students battle it out using borrowed power from the gods. In addition to the titles above the remaining episodes of Pokémon: The Beginning, otherwise known as Pokémon: Indigo League, were also added to the Disney+ platform. Thus bringing the total number of Pokémon episodes available to stream up to 52.
The arrival of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time continues the partnership between Anime Limited and Disney+, of which sees Anime Limited licensed titles being added to the platform. During the past few weeks films such as YOUR NAME, AKIRA and Weathering With You have been added with more expected in the coming weeks. As a reminder a Disney+ subscription, and compatible device, is required to view content on the platform.
