Impressions:
A post ad break recap feels like a new one, especially in this age of streaming. Just randomly out of nowhere, thirty seconds of recapping the episode so far. And does nothing to salvage this awful filler episode. It was expected, but still disappointing. Not even an attempt to pitch a future season where it actually returns to the plot. Just recap and flashbacks, which conveniently ignored the main story points, bizarrely enough.
Worse, this may be what they consider the main plot, the weird worship she has for a dude she should not at all be in a relationship with, for multiple reasons. They still could’ve at least gone the full comedy route, with him being a snippy little ass about her in both forms, but no. The crush and this awful pairing is the point. With plenty of recap and flashbacks on top.
