Burning Sword: Death Sun, an upcoming fast-paced action game with roguelite elements, from Nomadic Games has recently received a playable demo on Steam.
According to the steam description Burning Sword tells the story of Zhang Yixiang (张逸羡) and his pursuit of power and vengeance for the death of his master. In the game players will experience hardcore action combat combined with epic boss battles with roguelite progression, intermixed with subtle environmental storytelling and world building. Burning Sword emphasizes challenge, progression, and deep combat systems… and judging from the gameplay clips should appeal to fans of Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
