Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have recently revealed on social media that they have discovered an issue with the Blu-ray release of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, and are urging those who purchased it to contact customer support so that they can be sent a replacement disc in the near future.
According to the announcement, the issue only effects Disc 2 (Episode 18) of the Standard Blu-Ray Disc within the series, with the issue itself being that the episode will not play. As a reminder this issue only effects the Blu-Ray version and not the 4K version, but the Ultimate Edition does contain both 4K and Blu-Ray discs.
As outlined in the statement above those who purchased Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water from Anime Limited directly will automatically receive a replacement disc once available, but those who purchased the set elsewhere will need to email Anime Limited’s customer support (shop.uk@alltheanime.com) and provide them with there address details, proof of purchase, and a picture of the disc in order to be added to the list.
In the meantime the Blu-Ray release of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water has been recalled from retailers (as well as suppliers) and Anime Limited will be looking to aurthor and release a fixed version in the near future. Sadly we don’t have a time frame on when the fixed disc will appear, but it will most likely be within a couple of months.
