Those who enjoyed Death Note the Musical earlier this year will be excited to know its producers are to stage the European premiere of Your Lie in April – The Musical in Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London next year, with tickets now available to book online for this limited event.
Your Lie in April is a romantic drama manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa, and was later adapted into the anime series by A-1 PIctures and Aniplex, with the story focusing on piano prodigy Kōsei Arima and violinist Kaori Miyazono. The Musical will look to adapt this story with musical performances throughout:
After 10 sold-out West End performances of Death Note the Musical in Concert, its producers are to stage the European premiere of one of the most popular romantic stories and greatest tearjerkers in manga history, Your Lie in April – The Musical in Concert.
This musical adaption of a manga favourite story, Your Lie in April, brings to life the poignant story of Kōsei Arima, a young piano prodigy, and his inability to play following his mother’s death. He strikes a friendship with violinist Kaori Miyazono and she slowly encourages him to perform again.
