After two successful runs at the Barbican Theatre in London, the organizers of the My Neighbour Totoro stage show have recently announced that the performance will be transferring to the London West End in 2025 with tickets going on sale as early as next month.
This My Neighbour Totoro performance is a stage play adapted from the iconic Studio Ghibli film and was produced in partnership by Joe Hisaishi and the Royal Shakespeare Company, in collaboration with Nippon TV and Improbable. The performance originally debut at the Barbican Theatre in 2022 to massive success, and returned again the following year for another round of sell-outs performances, but following this recent announcement the performance take place at Gillian Lynne Theatre, in London’s West End, from 8th March 2025 until 2nd November 2025.
Tickets for this third round of performances are expected to go on sale on 29th April 2024 (for priority members), with general sale available from 3rd May 2024. Further information, and details about the show, can also be found on the official website.
