A new month means new additions to the Netflix streaming platform, and today a wide variety of anime titles including Dr. Stone, HAIKYU!! and Jujutsu Kaisen, along with the feature-length-film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, are now available to stream on Netflix in the UK.
As of today Netflix subscribers will be able to enjoy the following titles:
Black Clover (Season 2): Broken but not defeated. Now even broken arms can stop Asta! But when his injuries are beyond healing magic, this could mean the end of his journey. Dr. Stone (Season 1): After five years of harboring unspoken feelings, high-schooler Taiju Ooki is finally ready to confess his love to Yuzuriha Ogawa. Just when Taiju begins his confession however, a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone. Several millennia later, Taiju awakens to find the modern world completely nonexistent, as nature has flourished in the years humanity stood still. Among a stone world of statues, Taiju encounters one other living human: his science-loving friend Senkuu, who has been active for a few months. Taiju learns that Senkuu has developed a grand scheme—to launch the complete revival of civilization with science. However, Senkuu’s master plan is threatened when his ideologies are challenged by those who awaken. All the while, the reason for mankind’s petrification remains unknown.
HAIKYU!! (Seasons 2 – 4): The drama heats up, both on and off the volleyball court, as the rivalry between teammates Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama continues to develop in new and unexpected ways. After the team’s dramatic setback in Inter-High Preliminaries, Karasuno gets the unexpected opportunity to go to a training camp in Tokyo alongside other top schools in the nation… including their rival team, Nekoma! In order to attend, though, the dynamic duo must pass their exams, and getting Hinata and Kageyama through that challenge will be the trial by fire for Hitoka Yachi, who could be joining Kiyoko Shimizu as a team manager. With the eyes of their opponents fixed on their progress, will it be the spark needed to get the team moving in the right direction?
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (Movie): Violent misfortunes frequently occur around 16-year-old Yuuta Okkotsu, a timid victim of high school bullying. Yuuta is saddled with a monstrous curse, a power that dishes out brutal revenge against his bullies. Rika Orimoto, Yuuta’s curse, is a shadow from his tragic childhood and a potentially lethal threat to anyone who dares wrong him.
Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 1): Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by Curses, he eats the finger of the Double-Faced Specter, taking the Curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with the Double-Faced Specter. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to the Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the Curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
There is more to explore on Netflix UK this month, as T.P Bon joins the platform tomorrow (2nd May 2024) with DR. STONE NEW WORLD, OVERLORD II and The Quintessential Quintuplets (TV series & Movie) being added on 15th May 2024 as well as feature length film My Oni Girl arriving on 24th May 2024. In the meantime all of the above titles, except HAIKYU!!, have been released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK and all of them can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
