The french division of Anime Limited, also known as All The Anime FR, made some pretty interesting announcements at Japan Expo in Paris, and (more importantly) some of those announcements will also be coming to the UK as confirmed by Anime Limited’s UK division. New titles include DEVILMAN crybaby, Tekkonkinkreet, as well as the Studio Laika Collection while first looks include Bleach, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War & Macross Plus: Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition.

Interestingly all of the above titles, with the exception of DEVILMAN crybaby, have been released in the UK on Blu-Ray and DVD from other distributors, and Coraline is even getting a 15th Anniversary Cinema re-release in August.
First Looks:
Bleach – Part 1 (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray):
Anime Limited have not yet provided specific details about the release strategy for Bleach, or when we can expect it, but the beauty shot released today provides an example of what to expect from the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Bleach – Part 1.
What we do know is that Bleach – Part 1 will contain 27 Episodes across 4 Blu-Ray Discs and be presented in a standard amaray case with a carded sleeve. The Collector’s Edition will also feature Art Cards and a huge 224-page art book. Based on the beauty shot we assume that the rigid art box will be able to hold five sets (as 01 – 05 is listed in the spine). Another interesting fact is that the disc artwork is very similar to the US Blu-Ray releases by VIZ Media.
Bleach: Thousand Year-Blood War – Part 1 (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray):
Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War will be released in Part installments, similar to how it was released by VIZ Media in the US, with Part 1 containing Episodes 1 – 13 across 2 Blu-Ray discs and come packaged with a 76-page booklet and sleeve.
Macross Plus: Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray + Vinyl Set):
The Sharon Apple Deluxe Edition of Macross Plus will feature the soundtrack of the title across 7 vinyl discs and will come with both OVA and Movie Editions of Macross Plus on 2 Blu-Ray Discs. We suspect that this might be available at a similar time as the Ultimate Edition of Macross Plus, which features only the films and Art and is due in October, but once again specific details have not yet been provided.
As it stands Anime Limited have only announced these titles for UK Blu-Ray releases and have yet to confirm any release details or when pre-orders will become available, but they are certainly some interesting announcements to be had – especially if you are a fan of Bleach and Macross Plus.
