That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles Arrives Digitally on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation & Windows PC with DLC Planned

Bandai Namco Entertainment have today confirmed that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles, which is a side-scrolling action RPG with life-sim elements inspired by the isekai light novel and anime franchise, has now arrived digitally onto the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC with a DLC Planned to launch throughout the next two months.

As a reminder That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is an action-RPG that follows the original story of the light novel, whereby players will take control of Rimuru Tempest and his companions as they work together to build-up the nation of Jura. This journey will see players overcome iconic moments from the story, such as the encounter with Kijin and the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth. In addition this game will feature two exclusive stories supervised by the original author, FUSE.

The game will offes a mixture of side-scrolling action-RPG adventure and life-sim styled management of the town, in which will grow as the story progresses forward. Sub-Quest and Objectives will also be available that will unlock additional rewards for both the player and the town.

In addition to the standard digital game being released, a digital deluxe edition has also been made available. This Digital Deluxe Edition contains both the standard digital game and Season Pass, but also includes an exclusive mission. Naturally the season pass is also available to purchase individually, as this Season Pass will grant players access to additional characters.

DLC 2: “The Fairy Queen’s Labyrinth” – Adding Veldora (12th September)

DLC 3: “Martial Arts Tournament” – Adding Milim (19th September)

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is available digitally on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC on 8th August 2024. A Physical version, which is expected to include English text/subtitle support, is also available in Japan for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
