PQube Games have today announced that the music themed visual novel styled game I*CHU: CHIBI Edition will launch on 3rd October 2024 for the Nintendo Switch in Europe.
Developed by Opera House I*CHU: CHIBI Edition will see the player become a producer to various idol groups, each with their own music and style, as you’ll work to improve their ratings within the idol industry. As part of the experience players can expect a mixture of visual novel styled dialogue, and rhythm based gameplay, to help bring the idols to stardom. Interestingly I*CHU: Chibi Edition is a Nintendo Switch remake of the original Japanese game and follows the same main storyline, but does not include any of the romantic side stories.
About: Your time as a producer has come! Aspiring idols need guidance on their journey to stardom and only you can provide it.
Created by a renowned talent agency, Etoile Vie School is a special academy designed to teach and train idols to be. 32 idols-in-training, also known as “I-Chu” have been chosen to attend this academy and are all working hard towards their major debut.

Enter you! It’s your job as their teacher and producer, to guide these unique characters, through their struggles and stresses, helping them make music and resolve issues, to become the ultimate idols in the music industry!
At its core I*CHU: CHIBI Edition is a visual novel, but does features music/rhythm game elements including over 80 Japanese songs. I*CHU: CHIBI Edition will be available on 3rd October 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, but further details can be found on the official microsite.
