Amazon Prime continues to slowly add new additions to its on demand streaming platform and most recently we’ve seen that four seasons of Haikyu!! have become available alongside a new simulcast series known as TASOKARE HOTEL. It’s also expected that Übel Blatt will become available to simulcast stream on Amazon Prime by the end of the week.
Haikyu!!: Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life volleyball sports anime based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate. Hinata is inspired to create a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Matched against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team they ultimately lose. Vowing to surpass Kageyama, Hinata joins the high school volleyball team only to find that Tobio has joined too.
TASOKARE HOTEL: Who is the real you? The “Tasokare Hotel” exists in a state of twilight limbo, allowing souls caught between the afterlife and the world of the living to rest. Neko Tsukahara arrives with no memory of who she is or how she came to be there, and is shown to a room filled with items relating to her past. As she searches for a way to remember who she was, a certain incident confronts her…
Interestingly TASOKARE HOTEL has a broadcast start date of 8th January 2025, but the first can streamed (in Japanese with English subtitles). Übel Blatt is expected to begin streaming on 10th January 2025, but a product page has yet to appear on Amazon. Haikyu!! meanwhile is also available subtitled with four seasons of the show available to stream. Haikyu!! is also available to stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
