Impressions:
I guess there’s at least one slightly unusual thing about this one. Instead of being stuffed in the head of the cheat power reincarnee, we’re in the head of his top harem-member fan, his sister. That’s… not actually an improvement, but it is somewhat different. Join her as she gushes over her quirky brother as he laments the lack of magic in the world until she shows him glowing fish and they discover that it’s the bond between fish… or hugging each other… that makes things photoluminescent. But not just regular hugging apparently. Only hugging between a reincarnated protagonist and his horny underage sister.
Not sure a deep dive is needed here to explore all the things wrong with it. It’s boring. It’s cliche. It’s barely animated. So on and so forth. Even holding back the cheat powers to merely the end of the episode isn’t all that unusual or unique, especially considering the absolutely nothing happening for the rest of the episode, except the disturbingly thirsty 10 year old lusting over him. I am not joking about that either. Literally the very first shot of the show, the opening even, is a bee pollinating a flower right before her getting mad at him for reading instead of paying attention to her, so she jumps on and straddles him. That… really sets the tone.
