The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are fast approaching, and the streaming giant have not only revealed the list of nominees for each category, but they have also confirmed that the event will be streamed globally on Sunday 25th May 2025 with special guests and hosts. Votes are now being accepted on the Crunchyroll Anime Awards website.
As a reminder the Crunchyroll Anime Awards is a celebration of all things anime and it allows the public to vote on their favorite moments, shows, music and more from anime released within the past year (or so). The nominees and categories for this years awards are as follows:

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards is the leading yearly awards program honoring the creators, musicians, and performances powering the global love of anime. The ninth annual Anime Awards will take place at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo on May 25, 2025. Sony Music Solutions Inc., part of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., and Dempsey Productions will support Crunchyroll in the execution of the event. The event will be livestreamed for global audiences.
In addition to the nominees being revealed for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025, the streaming giant have also confirmed that a variety of fan-favourite shows, including DAN DA DAN, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Kaiju No. 8, Solo Leveling, and The Apothecary Diaries, will be available to stream for FREE on Crunchyroll until 27th May 2025.
