Eastasiasoft have recently announced that they will release the visual novel Hakuoki SSL ~Sweet School Life~ onto the Nintendo Switch in late 2025, with a physical edition being made available exclusively through PlayAsia.
Hakuoki SSL ~Sweet School Life~ is a spin-off of the Hakuoki franchise that takes place in modern day Japan with the characters leading every day lives. Just like with the mainline games Chizuru will be the lead protagonist, with members of the Shinsengumi being characters you’ll regular interact with. This is more than just an otome game, as players will navigate regular school day activities which will see players engage in the school festival, stress over midterms, get into watergun fights and lots more.
