KONAMI have today announced that EDENS ZERO, the upcoming Action RPG being released on 15th July 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, will feature a collaboration story with FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST and (more importantly) its included in the base game.
Both EDENS ZERO and FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST are based upon manga’s created by Hiro Mashima, and anyone that has seen EDENS ZERO will know that characters from FAIRY TAIL make cameo appearances. Well, these cameo appearances are being taken to the next level, as in the EDENS ZERO game a special four-part story can be accessed that allows characters from both franchises to interact with each other.
The best part about this collaboration story is that it is included in the base game and features a unique story that will see Shiki, Rebecca and friends team up with Lucy and Natsu to uncover mysterious events that are happening. As part of this story players will encounter new (and exclusive) characters known as Maruha and Submerse, both of which are drawn by Hiro Mashima. Further details about this quest can be found here.
HOW TO UNLOCK THE FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST STORY IN EDENS ZERO:
To unlock this special unique story players will need to meet the following criteria:
1. Play Story Mode and finish Chapter 7, Digitalis Arc.
2. Enter Exploration Mode and beat Guild Quests to reach Adventurer Rank C.
3. A request from Maruha will arrive at the Shooting Starlight Guild, kicking off the Mysterious Organization Story!
4. To unlock new parts of the story line, continue with the Main Story and raise your Adventurer Rank further.
EDENS ZERO will launch on 15th July 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in 2025, but those that pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition can play it 3 Days Early and receive additional content. Further gameplay details can also be found on the official website.
