Arcana Famiglia -La storia della Arcana Famiglia- Rinato visual novel launches digitally on Nintendo Switch this Month

HuneX will publish the visual novel Arcana Famiglia -La storia della Arcana Famiglia- Rinato (known in Japan as アルカナ・ファミリア Rinato) onto the Nintendo Switch digitally on 24th July 2025 worldwide. A physical version, which is expected to have English text/subtitle supported, will also be released in Japan for the Nintendo Switch.

If the name sounds familiar it is because MVM Entertainment released the anime series Arcana Famiglia, which this visual novel is based upon, on DVD back in 2014 (of which we reviewed here). That aside, this Nintendo Switch release of Arcana Famiglia -La storia della Arcana Famiglia- Rinato is a high definition re-release of the Japanese only PS Vita game (which was a HD re-release of the game on PSP) but with English text/subtitle support and is being released to celebrate the franchises 13th Anniversary.

About: Acrana Famiglia is an autonomous organization that protects the small island of Regalo in the Mediterranean Sea.

Those who belong to the Famiglia have a mysterious power called Arcana, which they use to protect the island from outside enenmies.

Felicita (main character/name can be changed), the only daughter of the organization’s boss Mondo, has only just taken her first steps as a member of the family.

April 1st. It’s Mondo’s birthday. At a party thrown for him by the family, he makes a surprising announcement.

Mondo: “Two months from now…June 1. We’ll hold the Arcana Duello!”

Mondo: “The winner of the Duello will become the leader of the organization…and as the new Papa, they will wed my daughter.”

This is Felicita’s story, as she fights to win the Arcana Duello in order to change her own destiny.

Felicita: “My path…is for me to decide.”

As it stands Arcana Famiglia -La storia della Arcana Famiglia- Rinato will only be available digitally for Nintendo Switch, with it priced at £39.60 on the Nintendo eShop. A 10% Pre-Order discount is also available on the Nintendo eShop until launch. A physical version for the Nintendo Switch is also expected to release the same day in Japan. A Windows PC version (via Steam) is also expected.
