What even is supposed to be going on with her hair?
Impressions:
A bit of focus here would have helped a lot. It seemed like it was going to focus on the short haired blonde girl. No, not that one, the other one. The horny one whose entire personality is that she desperately wants to get laid. Wait, that’s still both. Okay, the one who looks like a seagull crapped on her head and has an earring instead of a headband. Just one. Because anime loves asymmetry. And she’s confident instead of flustered, so a totally different personality archetype. But partway through the episode, it goes “Hey, actually, I think we should focus more on the pink one,” and then it… doesn’t. So it jumps back to the original main heroine before it remembers, oh, right, that first girl, whereupon the episode ends.
It’s hard to say that this set up anything at all, let alone put together an actual episode. I truly don’t understand why this is so difficult for anime in general to have a start, middle, and end in twenty minute slices. Well, I do. It’s the slavish devotion to fidelity of the source under the cowardly and mistaken that fidelity = best. At least, that’s my assumption for what went on here. Three essentially filler chapters slapped together haphazardly. It would perhaps be even more depressing if my assumption is incorrect and this is them rearranging things or even making up their original material and this is what they came up with.
