Disney+ and Netflix subscribers in the UK can now enjoy Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I, which was previously titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- when released in Cinemas, in both dubbed and subbed format. The film can also be streamed on Crunchyroll.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- , which is produced by ufotable and distributed in the UK by Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Sony Picture Releasing International, opened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland in September 2025, and then received a cinema re-release in March 2026 with a new SCREENX version. On the 28th July 2026, the film was added to the Crunchyroll platform, and now Disney+ and Netflix subscribers can also enjoy this film. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is the first film in a trilogy of films that will bring the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba storyline to its conclusion, with the second and third films expected in 2027 and 2029.
Synopsis: Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.
As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
All TV episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba are currently available to stream on both Crunchyroll and Netflix in the UK, with the first season available on Blu-Ray from Anime Limited and later arcs on Blu-Ray from Crunchyroll.
While it is exciting news to see Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I on Disney+ and Netflix it does come with a little bit of disappointment (especially for those with 5.1 Surround Sound systems) as the English Dub version of the film is only presented in Stereo, whereas the Japanese version is available in 5.1 Surround Sound. Regardless Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is now available on Crunchyroll, Disney+ and Netflix in the UK.
