Amairo Chocolate, a romantic visual novel that follows the protagonists daily life at Cafe Setaria, was originally expected to be released onto the Nintendo Switch digitally worldwide on 28th March 2024, however publisher HUNEX/Dramatic Create have recently announced that the European and North American release of the game have been cancelled.

We regret to inform you that due to various circumstances, we have canceled the planned 2024 digital release of “Amairo Chocolate” for the Nintendo Switch for the North American and European regions.

It is unclear what has caused the European and North American versions of the game to be cancelled, but the original Windows PC (Steam) version was localized and released into English speaking regions by SEKAI Project.
While the European & North American versions of the game have been cancelled, the game will continue to be released in Japan, with the Japanese release including English text language, in both physical and digital forms. A playable demo of Amario Chocolate was also recently made available to download from the Nintendo eShop in Japan.
