Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway to receive a UK Cinema Release on 12th June 2026

Trinity CineAsia, a distributor that specializes in bringing Chinese and Asian films to the UK market, have recently announced through an exclusive reveal on ScreenDaily, that they have secured the UK distribution license to the feature-length anime film Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway and that it will be screened in cinemas across the UK from the 12th June 2026.

Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway is the twenty-ninth feature-length entry into the Detective Conan, otherwise known as Case Closed, franchise and the third film to be acquired and distributed by Trinity CineAsia in the UK. Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway received its Japanese debut on 10th April 2026 and became the highest grossing film for the franchise with ¥3.5bn earned during its opening weekend. This latest film is directed by Takahiro Hasui (Mob Psycho 100 III), with screenplay by Takahiro Okura.

The confirmation of a cinematic release for Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway comes as a welcome surprise, but was expected as a Japanese teaser for the film was included at the end of the last film (Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback) which Trinity CineAsia also distributed in the UK and can be purchased digitally on demand through digital streaming platforms.

Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway will be shown in particpating cinemas across the UK in Japanese with English on the 12th June 2026. Screening and ticket availability have yet to be confirmed, but further details will be shared through the official Trinity CineAsia accounts on social media.
