Impressions:
I miss the murderpalooza episodes. Another very info-dumpy and melodramatic episode which doesn’t work because these characters have been sitting around, doing jack squat, especially Touya. You could’ve removed him from the last like eight episodes of the show and barely anything would change, so him declaring that he’s super duper convinced in his beliefs doesn’t mean jack. He can clench his fist and declare his resolve all he wants. It doesn’t matter, because he hasn’t done jack except listen to exposition.
But also, all of them were completely fine with genociding the Others for having too much power, whether or not they abuse it, but now when it’s them, it’s a horrible, grave insult. How dare they. It’s not like there’s a Genosha where co-existence failed either. Ya’ll jump straight to mass murder as your first approach to everything. Plus, it’s entirely cart before horse. You have a pack of genocidal lunatics, and you’re debating whether or not a zero tolerance policy after defeating them is acceptable. Have the tiniest amount of self-awareness here.
