Please, no more stamp collecting.
Impressions:
Well, at least it was weird, but this is the second episode in a row across two shows about going on a tour of people to gather approval stamps that stretches into an entire arc. Granted, I expected it to focus on the students, but instead it was a montage of the heretofore unseen teachers, who will likely vanish back into the ether right after this. They also blasted through like three of them in the first half, so it didn’t get dragged down by a single character/joke, unlike Kanan.
That said, the second half did drag a lot more. Whether it was a fanservice bath, or a very weird abrupt dance off that began with a Brazillian festival outfits and then slapped everybody into random pairs and assigned one to wear a dress and the other got pants, regardless of gender. Then it switched gears again to behead a couple random thugs with a giant snake and threaten to get something approaching an actual plot going instead of endless tests.
