Arc System Works have recently revealed that the tactical RPG Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow will launch physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Steam on the 24th September 2026. The physical version will be distributed by Meridiem Games in Europe while a Deluxe Edition, containing alternate artwork and lithographs, will be available through Red Art Games.
Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow will see players experience the story of Soma Hoshigami who finds himself transformed into a half-human, half-monster, hybrid and is subsequently taken in as a “lost property” case by Rena Hizuki, an investigator with the Metropolitan Police Department’s Public Anomalies Division. As part of the experience players will need to uncover the truth behind this mysterious transformation.
About: In a world where supernatural corruption is causing reality itself to collapse, players take control of the duo as they battle powerful enemies in style while uncovering the mystery behind the world’s transformation. Their investigation leads them to a mysterious cult operating in the shadows and a new drug known as “Tiny Truth,” which is spreading throughout Tokyo.
Featuring a unique combat system where timing is everything, players investigate supernatural incidents across the city while facing formidable foes. By adapting their abilities to match enemy skills, they can unleash devastating counters and use tactical slow motion to anticipate attacks and turn the tide of battle.
As mentioned Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow is planned for both a physical and digital release, and those that pre-order the game will also receive bonus DLC for use in the game.
Three additional costumes for protagonists Rena Hizuki and Soma Hoshigami

Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow is planned for a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Steam on the 24th September 2026 release and will feature English and Japanese audio with text in English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish.
