MVM Entertainment have today confirmed through online retailer anime-on-line that From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated will be released on the 12th October 2026 as a Standard Edition Blu-ray set. An early bird pre-order deal is also being offered for a limited time.
From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated is a 12-episode series animated by Ajiado and is adapted from the Japanese Manga written by Michiro Ueyama. This UK Blu-Ray release of the TV Anime will feature the series in English and Japanese (with English subtitles) across 2 Blu-Ray discs and is expected to use the same disc materials as those authored by Sentai Filmworks in the US. As such, we can also expect textless opening and closing songs as well as commerical bumpers as bonus features.
Synopsis: Kenzaburo Tondabayashi was a loving husband and father until he was hit by a truck saving a young boy and woke to find himself in the world of his daughter’s favorite videogame. Even weirder: he’s now inexplicably Grace, the story’s villainess! Of course, being a nice guy at heart, he has no idea how to be a “mean girl” and everything he tries only makes the plot deviate further from the one he’s seen his daughter follow. But is that such a bad thing? It may be if he wants to finish the game’s story properly so he can return to the real world in From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated!
