Satoshi Kon’s influential thriller Perfect Blue is now available to stream on Disney+ in the UK, with the film also becoming available to stream on Netflix from 1st September 2026.
The listing for Perfect Blue on Disney+ in the UK can be found in the “newly added” section of the app, alternatively you can find it by searching for it. As a reminder Perfect Blue has been added to Disney+ as part of a new deal between Anime Limited and Disney+ which will see a variety of anime films (that are licensed by Anime Limited in the UK) become available to stream on the platform. Titles including Your Name and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence are currently available to stream with more films expected to be added throughout the year.

Perfect Blue has a long history in the UK, with the film treated to numerous cinema releases and has been released on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray in various editions with the most recent release being a 4K UHD Edition. Pefect Blue will also be added to Netflix on the 1st September 2026.
In the meantime Perfect Blue is currently available to stream on Disney+ in the UK in both dubbed and subbed format.
