MVM Entertainment have today confirmed through online retailer anime-on-line that the complete series collection of Rock is a Lady’s Modesty will be released on the 2nd November 2026 as a Standard Edition Blu-ray set in the UK. An early bird pre-order deal is also being offered for a limited time through the retailer.
Rock is a Lady’s Modesty is a 13-episode series animated by Bandai Namco Pictures and is adapted from the Japanese Manga written by Hiroshi Fukudau. This UK Blu-Ray set will feature the series in English and Japanese (with English subtitles) and is expected to use the same disc materials as those authored by Sentai Filmworks in the US. As such, we can also expect textless opening and closing songs as bonus features.
Synopsis: For Lilisa, every day at Oushin Academy is another day of pretending to be someone she’s not, all to please her new rich stepfamily by becoming one of the school’s elegant “Noble Maidens.” And it sucks, because with her new fake persona, she can’t even play the guitar her real dad left her. But when she discovers one of the school’s other “perfect girls” smashing out her frustrations on a set of drums, Lilisa realizes that maybe she’s not alone. Maybe her dreams are closer than she’d thought. Of course, that’s assuming that they can find enough other closeted lady rockers and form a band in ROCK IS A LADY’S MODESTY!
