The Game Music Foundation have today announced that the Game Music Festival will be returning next year, with it featuring musical performances from various game franchises including the Persona franchise.
Throughout June 2026 the Game Music Festival will feature five different concerts, across two venues, with each focusing on a different style of music. Most notably for us are the The Colors of Harmony: Hitoshi Sakimoto 40th Anniversary Celebration taking place on the 13th June 2025 at the Fairfield Halls, and the Persona Grooves (featuring music from Persona 3, 4, 5) taking place on the 27th June 2025 at the Royal Festival Hall.
Persona Grooves [27th June 2026]: For three decades, the Persona video games have held a special place in the hearts of gamers worldwide, thanks in part to their outstanding music. Persona Grooves is an extraordinary performance that will let fans immerse themselves in the vibrant sounds of Persona 3, 4, and 5, as the Bartosz Pernal jazz orchestra joins forces with the renowned London Mozart Players for an unforgettable celebration of the Persona series’ 30th anniversary. Composer Shoji Meguro himself will join the stage as a special guest. This jubilee event goes beyond nostalgia: whether you’re a devoted fan or a newcomer to the Persona universe, let yourself be swept away by this energetic tribute as Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall reverberates with the unmistakable spirit of Persona.
Tickets for the Persona Grooves concert are currently being sold through the official website, but ticket availability and further details for The Colors of Harmony concert have yet to be released. The concerts are also described as having no visualisations during the show, and electronic sound amplification is avoided unless technically necessary, thus offering a Truly a slow listening experience.
