Crunchyroll have today confirmed, through the official Crunchyroll news website, that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- will be returning to UK cinemas in dubbed and subbed format from the 7th March 2026. Additionally, SCREENX, which is the multi-projection 270-degree cinema experience, showings are also planned at selected locations.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- , which is produced by ufotable and distributed by Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Releasing International, opened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, in dubbed and subbed formats, on 12th September 2025, and achieved a £3.4m box office during its opening weekend. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- is the first film in a trilogy of films that will bring the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba storyline to its conclusion, with the second and third films expected in 2027 and 2029.
Synopsis: Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.
As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- received an extended cinematic screening in both dubbed and subbed formats across the UK, and isn’t expected to be added to the Crunchyroll streaming platform (or released on Blu-Ray) until later in 2026. This re-release of the film not only allows fans a chance to watch it again on the big screen, but also a chance to watch it in an entirely new way, as well as giving those that missed out an opportunity to watch it.
All TV episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba are currently available to stream on both Crunchyroll and Netflix in the UK, with the first season available on Blu-Ray from Anime Limited and later arcs on Blu-Ray from Crunchyroll. In the meantime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- is set to re-release in cinemas across the UK from 7th March 2026.
