Death Note: The Musical, which seems to be a new variation on the 2023 Death Note: The Musical concert, will be arriving in London this Summer at the Barbican for fifty performances from 30th July 2026 to 12th September 2026. Tickets for the musical are expected to go on sale from 5pm on 3rd March 2026 and an official website is also live.
This Death Note: The Musical has been produced for the stage in partnership with Japanese producers, HoriPro, and is set to feature an electrifying score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, who also worked on the musical for Your Lie in April, with lyrics by Jack Murphy. Death Note: The Musical is set to capture the intense excitement of the manga (and anime series) and bring it to life on the stage for everyone to enjoy.
About: Light Yagami, a bright but dissatisfied high school student in Tokyo comes across a discarded notebook owned by Ryuk, a mythological god of death. Discovering he can kill anyone by just writing their names in the supernatural notebook, Light takes justice into his own hands by filling the notebook with names of the nation’s most wanted criminals. But a detective only known as “L” is soon tracking him down…
