More impact lines. More yelling.
Actually watched this before Witch Hat, but I’m tired of waiting for a version without Chinese hardsubs. I’ll get to Liar Game and the second episode of WHA after I run some errands.
Impressions:
This began with shouting, continued with shouting, and ended with shouting. And overreactions. To the shouting. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing extremely loudly and violently, apparently. I was annoyed with it about 15 seconds in. Oh, there were moments where she got so horny for a fine upstanding Japanese man of high morals paying attention to her where she or her friends blushed deep enough to turn entirely red, but even those were only preludes to another bout of screaming and then counter-screaming, or doing geyser level spit-takes, or pratfalling to accentuate the sheer audacity of a person having said something like “drinking from the same cup is like an indirect kiss.” We are not breaking bold new ground on the comedy front.
It’s colorful and animated at least. But good god, please use that effort for something other than loud noises.
