Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, in partnership with Bandai Hobby have today announced at MCM Comic Con in London that Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, which is the second film in the Hathaway story, will be screened in cinemas across the UK this Autumn.
Sadly, no other details about the film (or even a trailer) were shown, but at least we have confirmation that it will receive a cinema release in the UK.
Synopsis: For twelve years, the Earth Federation has ruled with an iron fist. Its ministers live in luxury. Its people live in fear. Hathaway Noa knows this better than anyone. The son of legendary commander Bright Noa, he grew up in the shadow of a war that was supposed to bring freedom — and watched that promise rot from within.
Now he leads MAFTY, a resistance movement willing to do what others won’t.
But as the Adelaide Conference draws closer and Federation forces close in, Hathaway finds himself pulled toward something unexpected: Gigi Andalucia, a mysterious woman whose cryptic words cut deeper than any weapon. Her presence stirs something in him — something he’s spent years trying to bury.
The mission is set. The enemy is ready. And nothing is what it seems.
Of course, while this news is exciting it does come with some concern. The film iss already screening in Japan and North America, and Autumn is quite some time away. So, if you are a Gundam fan you’ll probably be trying to dodge spoilers like a newtype.
In the meantime the first film is available to stream on Netflix and further details for the release of this second film will be announced at a later date. Cover of the Gundam Panel at MCM Comic Con can also be found on our social channels.
