In celebration of Bananya upcoming 10th Anniversary Celebration, of which will also receive an anime special on the streaming platform, Crunchyroll have partnered with TMS Entertainment to publish the original game Bananya Buddies onto iOS and Android devices and it will become available to play through the Crunchyroll Game Vault.
Bananya Buddies is described as a mobile cat-collecting game based on Bananya anime shorts and is designed to capture the magic of the series in a cute, cozy package where fans can play mini-games, earn rewards, and deck out the ultimate Bananya hangout pad. The game itself is being developed by The MIX and is being published by TMS Entertainment and Crunchyroll.

Bananya Buddies will be available for Crunchyroll subscribers to enjoy as part of the Crunchyroll Game Vault when it launches in the near future, but pre-registration is available for Android users through the Google Play Store.
There is more Bananya excitement to be had, as the 10th Anniversary Special, which debut at Anime Expo last weekend, will become available to stream on Crunchyroll from 9th July 2026.
Synopsis: When I open my eyes, a bizarre world spreads before me. I spot strange kitties inside bananas… Bananyas, if you will. Hold on a moment, what is going on? Did I turn into a Bananya myself?! Through the forest, over the mountain, and across the land, we set out on a journey with the Bananyas in search of missing treasures.
