This is where I likely call it for this one. Same issue as the previous episode, and it doesn’t seem to be improving. Can you really say that you want revenge if you’re not doing anything whatsoever in pursuit of it? Not even scheming for it. This isn’t even procrastination, as it claims to jump forward years at a time. She’s just plain not an entity at all. Just someone for other people to recite platitudes towards. This book will be… THE FUTURE. Okay, how? Anyway, five years later…
Well, how about the warlords. We spend time with them. They doing some warlording? That could be interes– Nope. They’re reciting parables. Parables about how snakes with too many heads are poor decision makers. That a big issue with the snakes you know? Lotta snakes you know having trouble being too wishy-washy due to having too many heads, but are otherwise doing great? You do understand what snakes are, right?
