Streetlamp Studio, in partnership with publisher Skystone Games, have today released a playable demo for SlashZero and, as shown during the PlayStation State of Play, released a new trailer that focuses more on the story within the game.
According to the press release the newly released demo will only be available until the 23rd September 2026, but it will offer up to 10 hours worth of gameplay due to its unique gameplay loop. Players start by choosing a Timehacker, then experiment with different combat options and builds, unlock additional Timehackers, progress through various out-of-round systems, and take on new rounds that may reveal the hidden bosses Erik and Ye.

SlashZero is in development for simultaneous worldwide release on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store and is expected to be released in 2027.
