Have we really spent an entire month stuck in this stupid turtle? Well, no matter. Time for another flashback. To explain her super duper new magic… magic plants a bit more planty and larger. …Cool. That’s different from all the ways that you made gigantic vines and walls of plants before… how, exactly? That was normal plant magic, but this is special plant magic? That we’re using exactly once. To counter one generic explosion spell. That definitely needed an entire flashback.
Well, back to the fight, aaaaand it’s time for another flashback. About how Aria was always a blowhard showoff, but then her father went insane, and so she declared vengeance on the idea of “wanting to improve at something.” Yeah, that totally makes sense. Then the ED kicked in and I was genuinely worried that we’d be trapped in this hellhole for another few weeks. Thankfully, it was just spat in there completely randomly and there another three minutes awaited after where after all the non-fighting, her power level was now zero and deus ex dolphin triumphed. This has certainly not been a gigantic and complete waste of time.
