Impressions:
Meh. I’m here for the unhinged nonsense, and this was pretty lacking on that front. There were a few silly things here and there, like treating eye gouging by cauterizing it with a rocket fist, which turns out to be surgically perfect treatment, or him summoning a giant golem again only for it to immediately fall apart for no actual reason. Or Pinky being the stupidest blind person imaginable. All I can hear is someone being punched and moaning in pain. What could be going on!?
But like Shy, we seem determined to stretch this random fight out for the whole rest of the season despite it being against Some Random Dude, not the actual antagonist who’s sitting in a corner halfway across the world, or in this case, holding rock concerts. And stretch we do. Random Dude has to sit there, kicking and torturing them for easily a third of the episode while they come up with their plan to fight back, be tortured over it, have dramatic flashbacks about whether to do it, complete with bisected lunatics calling her a slut, and then finally start to do it, only for the episode to end.
