A girl makes bishoujo games (and travels through time).
I had a lot of fun with this. I appreciated how razor-focused the show was— it loves Akihabara and bishoujo games, and lets you know it! Much of the focus of the show is on this industry— but it presents it in a way where it almost doesn’t feel like the main focus, since it does so consistently and effortlessly through showing the story of the main character. Konoha’s story is likewise great in how they present it, without worrying too much about the details or logic, but leaving gaps for the viewers imagination to fill in. I personally much prefer when a show doesn’t feel the need to explain all the details.
I should also mention that it has the best OP / ED of the season probably, and the animation is great.
Long live the PC-98.
