Yohane the Parhelion -NUMAZU in the MIRAGE-, a video game based upon the Yohane the Parhelion anime series which is a spin-off of Love Live! Sunshine! franchise, will be making its worldwide debut on 22nd February 2024 for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with a playable demo also available on the Nintendo eShop in Japan.
Publised by BeXide, Yohane the Parhelion -NUMAZU in the MIRAGE- is a visual novel mixed with card-game based RPG Mechanics whereby Yohane battles through the mirror world in order to return home. Instead of last years YOHANE THE PARHELION -BLAZE in the DEEPBLUE-, which was developed by Inti Creates as a metroidvania styled action platformer, this particular title blends 3D visual novel sequences with card battling mechanics to deliver its story. In this case, instead of fighting with swords and magic, players will use trading cards to deliver attacks and defend from monsters with new cards being earned as your progress.

While working as a fortune teller in Numazu, Yohane spends her days with her friends. By chance, she comes into possession of an old mirror. Worried that her fortune-telling is not accurate, Yohane decides to play “Magic Mirror Fortune-Telling” using the mirror, Suddenly, she is sucked into the mirror, which begins to glow.
What she finds in the mirror is the “Ura-Numazu,” which is the exact reverse of the real Numazu! Moreover, it was a mysterious world where magic could be used with the power of cards. At the same time, strange things happen to the friends in the real world one after another. In order to save them, she must go through the “Ura-Numazu”!
What awaits her? A world of mirrors that changes its appearance every time she enters. After countless choices, what is the future that Yohane will choose? A new story begins in the other Numazu!
Yohane the Parhelion -NUMAZU in the MIRAGE- will be released digitally onto the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 worldwide on 22nd February 2024, but a playable demo (with English text support) is also available from the Nintendo eShop in Japan. A physical release, for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, will also be available in Japan and it is expected to feature English text support (as the demo in Japan features English text support).
